Implicit Semantics and Business Networks

At the Semantic Web SIG last week David Meyer and Michael Bechauf presented cutting-edge technology from SAP on extracting context from business networks. See my article for details.

David also gave a preview of StreamWork, a collaboration tool in the cloud that you can check out for FREE at David and Michael used to tool to collaborate with colleagues and the SIG organizers to plan for the presentation. I had a chance to join the space and follow the deliberations. I’d recommend signing up.

For pictures of the event, take a look at DJ Cline’s site.

I’m a solution engineer for Shape Security, an awesome web security startup in Mountain View that defends some of the worlds largest web sites from bot attacks. I see this blog as a learning tool. It gives me a chance to collect my thoughts on topics of interest and to share with others. If you see a mistake or think I’m on the wrong track, please let me know. I appreciate comments.
